Whitley Coach House self-catering accommodation/holiday rental has a large bedroom with a super king-size (5ft 6ins x 6ft 6ins) Lit Bateau oak bed designed and handmade with a supremely comfortable Vi-Spring handmade pocket sprung mattress. The living room has high ceilings with exposed beams and includes two three-seater sofas one with a large double pull-out bed. In addition, if booked there is a luxurious deep sprung folding bed for use in the bedroom or entrance hall.

The Space

Whitley Coach House is a detached former coach house to a Georgian house, renovated in 2013 and just redecorated, providing spacious self-catering accommodation. Whitley Coach House has a large bedroom with an individually designed and handmade kingsize bateau bed designed and handmade in oak, with a supremely comfortable Vi-Spring pocket sprung mattress. The living room has high ceilings with exposed beams and a solid oak floor. Also includes two three-seater sofas one with a large super king size pull-out bed. The living room has views of the sandstone paved garden with flower bed and teak garden furniture for you use. The kitchen table seats up to six people.

This self-catering accommodation has fast broadband, a 40 inch smart TV with Freeview channels. Also the ability to watch other online services like Netflix, if you have an account.

Guest Access

The back has a private sandstone terrace with a surrounding flower bed. There is plenty of private parking. A barbeque can be provided if asked for at an extra charge.

Whitley Coach House self-catering accommodation is not adapted for wheelchair users but has a step up into the property on entry. Once inside there are no steps, it is all on one level which is great for those having problems with steps.

Interaction with Guests

Your host will normally hand you the keys and discuss Whitley Coach House and the surrounding area with you on arrival. Unless of course you need further help you will be left alone to enjoy your stay.

In a beautiful semi-rural location within striking distance of many fantastic places to explore including the Georgian City of Bath, the picturesque National Trust village of Lacock and Bowood House, with its Championship Golf Course, Spa and children's adventure playground.

Has a large high ceiling exposed beamed bedroom with a king size Lit Bateau bed designed and made by Tim Wood Ltd with a supremely comfortable Vi-Spring pocket sprung mattress on two floating sprung divans. A large chest of drawers, a large hanging closet, bedside tables and a sofa chair. Also a 40" smart television with hundreds of Freeview channels and access to Netflix etc if your own account.

The bathroom has a long bath and overhead shower with thermostatic controls. Thick cotton towels are provided for each guest on the large towel rail, along with a cotton bath mat.

The kitchen has an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, halogen hob, kettle, La Cafetiere, a Kenwood master chief mixer and most of the things you would expect at home. Also if you don't wish to cook, there is a great pub nearby called the Pear Tree Inn (2 minutes by car and 10 minutes to walk). Or the fabulous Longs Arms 10 minutes by car.

In the living room, there is a 40-inch flat screen smart TV with over a 100 Freeview channels, a fair size DVD library in the room, a DVD player and a good high-speed broadband connection, Scrabble and Monopoly games. Also a flat screen 40" television on the bedroom wall, so you can relax in bed and watch tv. Whitley Golf Course is a 3 minute walk away.

Outside there is a private sandstone patio with teak chairs, a parasol and a teak table, great all year round but especially in the summer.

We supply most of the things you would expect if you were at home. Thick cotton towels are provided for each guest and Egyptian cotton sheets. There is a washer/dryer, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, long mirror, hot water bottles – if in doubt please ask.

We have extensive private free parking in the property.

This property is completely NON-SMOKING including the grounds. If you wish to smoke, please book somewhere else.

Children and infants of all ages are welcome.

No pets accepted.
