Set over 3 floors, Tylney House was designed by the famous architect John Wood in 1729, and a friend of Jane Austen, Earl Tylney, lived here.

Thoroughly refurbished, Tylney retains many authentic features including high ceilings, sash windows and even a fireplace in every room! A stay here gives a real sense of Georgian living in a modern world.

Living areas:
The first floor comprises of the living room, dining room and kitchen. The living room, with its comfortable corner sofa, 40″ Samsung smart TV, board games, toys, DVD and book collection is perfect for entertaining or a peaceful refuge. The dining room has seating for 10. From the dining room you enter the fully equipped kitchen. Apart from the usual oven, hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, it has all the equipment you need to make a fine feast or just a simple breakfast.

Bedrooms
4 well-sized bedrooms comfortably sleep up to 11 guests. All the beds have pocket sprung mattresses, made with crisp cotton bed linen for a great night sleep. On your preference beds can be made up as super-king or singles.

Bathrooms
There is a large family bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower and a separate bath. Another family bathroom has a walk-in shower and there is a smaller bathroom on the stairs.

The entire apartment is yours for the duration of your stay, sleeping from 4 to 11 people. The price is adjusted depending on guest numbers, making Tylney House superb value.

All the beds have pocket sprung mattresses and are made with crisp super-soft Egyptian cotton bed linen for a great night's sleep.



To maximize the flexibility of sleeping arrangements, single beds can be joined into super-king and comfortable futon beds can be provided.

2nd Bedroom: Double bed - sleeps 2
3rd Bedroom: Two single beds (or super-king bed) - sleeps 2
