Whilst your privacy is afforded and the furnishing delicate and cared for, this is a place for you to celebrate yourself and all who stay here.

We offer a beautiful country property lovingly restored and created over the past 30 years to help you take a rest from the stresses of life. There are wonderful walks, animals to see, places to sit and time to be. The land surrounding the farm is rich in history and situated near the historic village of Mells, 13 miles from the Roman city of Bath and close to Babington House.

At the centre of the property is the farmhouse which is available for exclusive lets and sleeps 8. Between May and September guests in the farmhouse can also use the gorgeous, heated swimming pool. In addition, there are 3 cottages and a further 3 self-catering properties that sleep between 2 and 6. This is somewhere that you can feel safe and be with yourself and your family. Two of the properties are dog friendly, so enquire if you’d like to bring your pet. As our guest you are welcome to enjoy all that we have to offer.

Experience a luxury farmstay in the heart of Somerset

The farm compromises of 55 acres of land, including a 6-acre wood, which is a nature conservation area and preservation area for birds of prey. Nature, the woods and the sounds of the birds will make you stop in your tracks and feel the magic around. It’s perfect for families, couples and groups of people who want to come to a place where you can have a moment to be yourself again.

There are two small lakes with damsel flies and dragonflies, one with a beach with logs and rocks to sit on that also harbours a large number of newts and the other one which is near an old stone bridge that leads you on to the old drovers way. You’ll find a flock of North Ronaldsay rare breed sheep, pygmy goats, various ducks which live in their own castle, many varieties of hens and other wildlife.

Grasses and wildflowers are abundant in summer, bluebells and wild garlic in spring and numerous fungi in autumn. Winter frosts leave an enchanting feel to treasure when you’re all wrapped up and can come back to a warm fire.

The market town of Frome with its numerous cafes and restaurants is a short drive away. There are farm shops within easy reach. Historic Nunney Castle is just round the corner and Longleat Adventure and Safari park is within a 20-minute drive. Cheddar Gorge with its breath-taking scenery and walks is a similar distance away and Wookey Hole another place to visit.
