Bathscape Walking Festival

The 2022 walking festival programme is now open for bookings!

Nature lovers can sign up to join a bat walk, tree walk or wildlife walks. There are plenty of longer rural hikes to explore the countryside outside the city.

History enthusiasts can learn about industrial heritage of the Somer Valley.  Or discover the social history of building council estates, the LGBTQ+ history of Bath and Haile Selassie’s time in the city.

Walks led by local experts are a mainstay of the festival: A day in the life of a Georgian Visitor with Kirsten Elliott, William Beckford with Amy Frost and Radical Bath with Andrew Swift, celebrating Bath’s honourable history of protest and rebellion.
