Set along a quiet country lane just outside the village of Wick near Bath, the Annexe at Yew Tree Cottage enjoys lovely views over hills and fields. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful countryside break.

The Annexe Yew Tree Cottage

The Annexe is a stylish one-bedroom countryside retreat, which enjoys lovely views across the surrounding hills. The annexe is furnished to a high standard, offering comfort and quality throughout.

The Kitchen at the Annexe Yew Tree Cottage

The private entrance at the rear of our property opens into a cosy dining area.  It is petrfectfor two, with a table and chairs, leading into a beautifully fitted kitchen with wooden work surfaces. Ideal for couples who enjoy cooking together. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and grill, induction hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, and a coffee-capsule machine.

Everything you need for a relaxed self-catering stay is provided.  It is easy to prepare leisurely breakfasts or a romantic evening meal. To help you unwind from the moment you arrive, we also provide tea, sugar, a few coffee capsules, as well as oil and vinegar.

Bathroom and Bedroom at the Annexe Yew Tree Cottage

A short corridor leads to a stylish, luxury bathroom with a powerful walk-in shower. The bedroom with Kingsize bed is set to the side of the annexe Itoverlooks the quiet private garden, ensuring wonderfully peaceful nights.

The room is thoughtfully furnished with a wardrobe and chest of drawers. It  provides ample storage for longer stays. To add to your comfort, complimentary toiletries are provided.

Lounge

At the end of the corridor, the south-facing lounge is a cosy and relaxing space. It has lovely views across the fields and hills opposite. After a day exploring the area, unwind on the comfortable two-seater sofa or armchair—perhaps with a book or a favourite film. The lounge is equipped with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and a small selection of books. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the annexe.

To the side of the annexe, you’ll find a private outdoor area for dining and relaxing, with full access to our beautiful three-acre garden. Spend a peaceful moment reading, enjoy a glass of wine by the pond, or relax in the shade of the trees surrounded by birdsong.

Location & Surroundings

Guests love staying at the Annexe Yew Tree Cottage for its stunning countryside views and tranquil setting on the edge of the Cotswolds—an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ideally located between Bath and Bristol and just four miles from the motorway and Park&Ride, the annexe is perfectly placed for visiting local attractions, as well as exploring Gloucestershire, Somerset, and Wiltshire.

The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking and cycling, with numerous footpaths nearby, including the Cotswold Way. We provide walking maps to help you explore, and the popular Bristol to Bath cycle path is just a couple of miles away.
