The Bath Carnival
Each year over 1200 people perform along the procession route with hundreds of professional carnival performers joining forces with local schools, clubs and community groups to create a huge collaborative performance that takes over the entire city centre!
Over a year of preparation goes into creating this colourful spectacle which sees new costume designs unveiled, carefully curated dance and music choreographies and a special finale around Laura Fountain featuring hundreds of drummers, horn players and dancers.
In 2023 we will be celebrating 10 YEARS OF BATH CARNIVAL with the biggest procession to date. If you are a community dance or drumming group, a local school or carnival performer get in touch to see how you could be involved.
