THE PENTHOUSE

BEDROOMS and BATHROOMS

The Penthouse has 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms can be arranged as twin single bedrooms, or one super-king double bedroom, as you chose. Our bedrooms have wall-mounted televisions, spacious cupboards, luggage racks, bedside lights and 100% high quality cotton bed linen.

The marble-lined bathrooms have underfloor heating and extra-large heated towel rails. We stock delicious bathroom products courtesy of ‘Arran Aromatics’ and piles of fresh 100% cotton towels for your comfort.

RECEPTION ROOMS

The Penthouse has a spacious, open-plan reception room with a fully-fitted kitchen designed by BOSCH. Comfortable sofas, extendable dining tables and wall-mounted smart TVs with Netflix and discrete lighting are a feature of our apartments and provide great entertaining or relaxing space for families and friends to enjoy a holiday break. The large picture windows enhance the apartments’ light and ambience and give a wonderful vista of Bath. There is Wi-Fi throughout the property and adjustable central heating and hot water.

LOCATION

The building is minutes from Bath’s major tourist attractions. It was once the home of the great Patron of Bath, Earl Manvers. You can walk to Thermae Bath Spa, The Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and the train and bus stations in less than 5 minutes.  Southgate Shopping Centre is directly behind offering a great variety of restaurants and bars.

PARKING:

The Penthouse has one parking permit. There is an inexpensive car park across the road for further cars – Manvers Street Car Park.

COMPLIMENTARY

On arrival, English tea and cakes, fresh flowers and guide books welcome you. Linen, towels and dry goods – such as tea and coffee, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, washing powders, conditioner – are all complimentary for you and your guests, as well as local magazines and guide books to help you find your way round the City.

EXTRAS

Two portable beds for extra guests are supplied, if required. The apartments both sleep a maximum of 6 guests. We have extra blankets, plus suitcase racks and umbrellas. Our Caretaker and Housekeeping are available 24/7. We can give advice on dining out, local activities and transport for larger groups from our feedback from previous guests.

2 bathrooms - one en suite in the master bedroom, plus a power shower room adjacent to the second bedroom off the inner hallway.

Fridge/freezer, double oven/grill, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, built-in espresso machine all made in Germany by Bosch. All cutlery, crockery, a variety of drinking glasses, many cooking utensils, china and cookware are supplied. Tea, coffee, sugar and kitchen dry goods are all supplied.

Each bedroom and the reception room contain wall-mounted flat screen TVs with satellite connections - and Netflix in the reception. All UK radio stations & local TV. Wi-Fi in all rooms.

The apartments are in the heart of old Bath. The building is both prestigious and historic. The views from the main windows are far-reaching and St John's Church lies in front of the building, with the hills surrounding Bath visible beyond.

The location is convenient for all major tourist attractions and also for shopping. The apartments are fully modernised with elegant furnishing, marble bathrooms and BOSCH-designed fully-fitted kitchens. We welcome groups, families, friends and celebrations.

There is one parking permit with each apartment and a low-level municipal car park opposite for additional cars which is not expensive.

No smoking within the building.

Children welcome. Travel cot, baby linen for cot and high chair available.

Pets are not permitted, with regret.

Perfectly situated to take advantage of all Bath’s major tourist attractions: Bath Abbey, The Roman Baths, The Guildhall, The Thermae Spa and many unique shops and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk.
The nearest shop is Marks & Spencer in the new Southgate Shopping Centre.
The are first class sports facilities within a short walk, including a large swimming pool, leisure centre, Bath rugby grounds and cricket pitch.
Just beyond the city are charming villages, iconic landmarks and historic houses just waiting to be discovered as well as beautiful walks in the surrounding countryside which start in Bath.
Places of interest outside Bath to visit include: Longleat, Lacock Abbey, Bradford on Avon and Wells and bicycle tracks along The Kennet & Avon Canal and the exciting Twin Tunnels (dis-used railway tracks) route from Bath to Radstock.
