The four star gold property is in a great position for many local attractions as well as the fabulous city of Bath itself, which speaks for itself as one of the world’s most beautiful and desirable.
One of our most frequent guest comments is how well situated we are. Our numerous 5 star testimonials which you may see on our website or Trip Advisor, speak for themselves.
Within close walking distance are such sights as: The famous Solsbury Hill (from Peter Gabriel’s song), St Catherine’s valley (and the former home of Jane Seymour), Brown’s Folly, the river Avon for walking, wild swimming at Claverton weir, fishing or boat rides, countryside walks including the Batheaston Commons and riverside pubs with great food such as The Bathampton mill.
The Kennet and Avon canal offers a beautiful walk into the city, from here it is possible to take a riverboat to pultney weir or even try some rowing out for yourself! The Bath Boatman offers riverside dining for those just wanting to relax and take in the scenery.
Venturing into the city centre could not be easier as there is a bus route which leaves from the main road outside of the properties. Once there, the city itself has something to offer everyone.
Those wishing to explore some of Bath’s history may wish to visit The Roman Baths or perhaps take a walk up to the Royal Crescent. From there it is just a short stroll to Royal Victoria park. The park provides a great spot for a picnic, outdoor games and even has tables for barbeques. There is also a huge adventure play area for the children, duck pond, botanical gardens and a bandstand. Throughout the year the park hosts many events such as the circus, steam fair and outdoor ice rink.
As well as its beautiful buildings and history, Bath also offers a great place for shopping. High street stores can be found in the recently upgraded SouthGate shopping centre, as well as top fashion stores along Milsom Street. There are plenty of places to stop for lunch or a tea break from well known chains to smaller, independent cafes. And if a quick tea break is not enough to recuperte from a days shopping, the Thermae spa offers a variety of treatments, pools and steam rooms, as well as its famous roof top pool.
For those looking to party, Bath has some great nightlife on offer. Many of the bars and clubs offer bookable activities for hen parties and other groups, such as cocktail masterclasses, private dining, VIP tables and guest list entry. There are taxi ranks operating within the city centre until the early hours of the weekend for those having too much fun to make the last bus home!
For guests wanting to liven up the party at home, we have a professional karaoke system we can set up for you for just £20 for your whole stay. Makes a great hen party night! We can also recommend suppliers for private dining, cocktail parties and Turkish cooking lessons.
