About Brooks’ View

Unashamedly romantic artisan cottage, newly renovated, with private garden and lovely seating area beside the Midford Brook, this luxury self-catering holiday cottage is full of original charm and would be ideal for honeymooners. Situated in the Midford Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Brooks’ View is great for cycling (Sustrans 24), walking and fly fishing. It is also just under 15 minutes’ drive from Bath city centre with all the fabulous old architectural delights and the 2 spas.

This very popular holiday let is the epitome of a romantic retreat with a decadent Victorian roll top claw bath, luxury king sized 1200 pocket sprung bed and a cosy living room featuring a traditional wood burning stove.

Furthermore, the picturesque, mature, south-facing private garden leads you to the banks of the tranquil Midford and Horsecombe Brooks. The garden also has its own outdoor dining area, complete with a stone built BBQ.

What to do

There is loads to do…whether walking cycling visiting the many National Trust properties, Cheddar Gorge, Longleat or doing the must sees round Bath…but we find that many guests do not leave the delightful, calming and historic environs of Tucking Mill.
