Unashamedly romantic 4 Star Gold artisan cottage, newly renovated by House Interiors furbished by Oka, Neptune and Biggie Best, with private garden and lovely summer house seating area beside the Midford Brook. This luxury self-catering holiday cottage is full of boho chic and would be ideal for honeymooners. Situated in the Midford Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Brooks’ View is great for cycling (Sustrans 24), walking and fly fishing. It is also just under 15 minutes’ drive from Bath city centre with all the fabulous old architectural delights and the Thermae Spa.
Romantic Cottage Retreat for Two
Our family-managed holiday let is the epitome of a romantic retreat with a decadent Victorian roll top claw bath, luxury king sized 1200 pocket sprung bed and a cosy living room featuring a traditional wood burning stove. The living area also has comfy sofas and throws, a flat-screen TV for those evenings in and a sound system. There is free Wifi throughout and free parking directly outside the cottage for two cars.
Furthermore, the picturesque, mature, south-facing private garden leads you to the banks of the tranquil Midford and Horsecombe Brooks. The garden also has its own outdoor dining area, complete with a stone built BBQ.
A Little Inspiration
There is loads to do! Whether walking or cycling, visiting the many National Trust properties, taking a trip down to Cheddar Gorge and Longleat or doing the must sees around Bath, Brooks’ View is perfectly located. However, many guests choose to not leave the delightful, calming and historic environs of Tucking Mill. Here there is plenty of English countryside to explore and two superb local pubs serving quality food all day.

Darling Deli, an 8-till-late Co-op and newsagents 1.4 miles away (5 minutes by car, 20 minutes on foot) at Summer Lane, Combe Down; Sainsbury superstore and Tesco Express 3 miles away on Frome Road (10 minutes by car).
Two excellent independent pubs that serve food at lunch and evening times. Just 15 minutes' walk. Hope and Anchor, Midford and Wheelwrights, Monkton Combe (both half a mile away).
Only a few minutes’ drive from Bath City Centre and with plenty of local hamlet attractions such as the Midford Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Guests can also walk over to Tucking Mill Reservoir and Tucking Mill Viaduct or take a bicycle to Sustrans Route 24. You can enjoy fishing on the Midford Brook, views of the Midford Castle and walks along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Along the canal there is also the Dundas Aqueduct. We are just a short walk from Monkton Combe Schools and Prior Park, while a short drive away from the University of Bath, Bath Spa University, Bath Clinic and Circle Bath, the MOD, Longleat, Stonehenge and Cheddar Gorge.
