Anvil Cottage is a beautiful holiday cottage, sleeping 4, set in the grounds of The Close, an 18th century house facing the duck pond, on the village green, in Biddestone.
It is ideally placed to visit the World Heritage City of Bath, and to explore the historic villages and countryside of Wiltshire and the Cotswolds.
Originally a working forge supplying agricultural implements and tools, Anvil Cottage has recently undergone sympathetic restoration to create a high class holiday home, whilst retaining many original features. The main living area is a magnificent open space created from the original forge, measuring approx. 28ft x 21ft.
The property provides flexible accommodation, including one double bedroom and a second bedroom with a double bed which can be converted to two singles – ideal for families with younger children. The property is tastefully furnished, with all necessary facilities and amenities.
Occupants have their own gravelled seating area to the rear of the property, and are welcome to use the orchard and paddock of The Close.
The property is available for weekly rental from Friday to Friday, with long weekends and mid week breaks by special request.
