Jane Austen Promenade In Bath Biggest Ever!

The streets of Bath will be alive this Saturday with over 600 Regency characters parading and being seen to mark the start of the 2022 Jane Austen Festival.

Shoppers and tourists are always stopped in their tracks as this amazing spectacle winds it’s way through the timeless Georgian city streets.
Having staked it’s claim to a Guinness© world record in 2009 with the largest number of people in Regency costume (409), the Festival Promenade aims to smash that number this year.

Following the Promenade, our celebrations continue throughout the day with walks, talks and theatricals, alongside our unique Regency Festival Fayre. The day culminates in the evening with our Jane Austen Festival Ball. Hold onto your bonnets- we are delighted to announce that the 2022 Ball will be held in the spectacular Grade I listed Bath Assembly Rooms!
