The Mad Hatters Tea Party

The Mad Hatters Tea Party

The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is a fun and quirky cafe located behind the Abbey. Mad Hatter’s Tea Party offers a variety of hot and cold drinks alongside a selection of meals and snacks.

As every parent knows, bedtime stories are a favourite in every household, and Lewis Carrolls “Alice in Wonderland” is a book all children’s dreams are made of! It was because of my love for this story, and the fact that my business is independent and family orientated, that inspired my idea for this quirky bolt-hole.

Here at “Mad Hatters”, we pride ourselves on being unique and vibrant, offering the weary traveller or local, the chance to experience something entirely different from the run-of-the-mill “chain”.

We have an extensive menu, ranging from full-english breakfasts, light lunches/ main meals and home made cakes and pastries, to local organic ice cream, “whole leaf natural teas” and the finest Italian coffee.

Our small team of friendly staff will ensure that no matter who you are, everyone is guaranteed to enjoy “The Mad Hatters Tea Party”!
