Cherry Cottage is one of three architect designed cottages, each sleeping four in a quiet rural location, close to the National Trust village of Lacock, yet only ten miles from Bath and perfectly situated for touring Wiltshire and the Cotswolds.
Although recently built(Spring 2009), Cherry Cottage feels like a mini converted barn with a galleried upper bedroom. It has a tiled, open plan kitchen, living and dining area with exposed oak beams giving a light and airy feel. There are French doors at the front, opening out on to a small patio area with garden furniture and barbecue. The Shaker style kitchen is well equipped and has an electric cooker with oven, dishwasher and microwave. Cherry has a double bedroom downstairs with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, and a shower room with wash basin and WC. Ladder stairs lead to a mezzanine galleried twin-bedded room with a wooden floor. This is not suitable for unsupervised young children but older children love it.
The cottage shares a separate utility room containing a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer. All heating, electricity and hot water is included in the tariff as is all bed linen, towels and tea-towels.
