Woodbarn Farm is a working arable farm. It is in a very rural location but is only 11 miles from Bath and 8 miles from Bristol. Cheddar, Wells, Wookey Hole Caves and the Mendip Hills are only 30 minutes drive or less away. Weston super Mare and Clevedon are also nearby and Exmoor, the Quantocks and the Somerset coast are easily accessible for a day trip. There are several National trust properties close by including Tyntesfield, Dyrham Park and Clevedon Court.

The stone built barn conversion is divided into 2 separate units. Bed and Breakfast is also available in the farmhouse.

Denny Cottage is a ground floor cottage with 2 bedrooms, a twin and a double. It has 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has plenty of china and utensils. The lounge has comfortable seating and a sofa bed for extra guests. This cottage is suitable for a wheelchair user who has assistance. It has wide doorways throughout and has a bathroom with a roll in shower and all the necessary handrails etc. All the rooms are tastefully decorated and have fully co-ordinated furnishings.

Woodbarn is a mile from Chew Magna which has a Co-op supermarket, butchers' shop, gift shop and cafe and a post office. It also has 2 banks and 3 pubs which serve food.

Deposit of £100 per week payable on booking. Remainder is payable 6 weeks before start of booking. Deposit is non-returnable. Cancellations later than 4 weeks before rental period begins no return of rent unless we are able to rebook property. We reccommend that you take out cancellation insurance when you book.

Chew Magna village, 1 mile away has Norman church , medieval church house, raised pavements, large Georgian properties and small cottages. Many interesting local walks and footpaths.

Chew Valley Lake is only 5 minutes drive away. This is a 1200 acre reservoir with nature walks, birdwatching, sailing boats to watch. Also trout fishing is available here. Cafe for lunch and snacks and restaurant available for evening meals and drinks in the bar.

Stanton Drew Stones are 10 minutes drive away. This is the Chew Valley's Stonehenge!!

The Mendip Hills are only a 10 minute drive away and Wells, Cheddar and Wookey Hole Caves are only 30 minutes away, as are Bath and Bristol.

Shopaholics are well catered for as Clarks Shopping Village at Street and The Mall at Cribbs Causeway are only 45 minutes drive from hereand Bristol's Cabot Circus- new designer shopping experience is only 30 minutes away.
