The Old Workshop, two bed holiday cottage, with stunning views, Batheaston, Bath. 4 star rated.

General Description of Property

This is a four star rated holiday let property in our private courtyard. Please note we have listed it twice on this site - once as a one bed and once as a two bed - both configurations are available to let.

Freshly completed in October 2012 to the same high standard as our other property, the Saltings. If you check the testimonials on our website, you will see the many glowing comments we have had from our delighted guests. We are sure this property will be equally popular and we will achieve a 4 star rating.

The Old Workshop is a two bedroom cottage, located in the village of Batheaston, with easy access straight in to the City of Bath. Like all the properties here, it has an interesting history dating back hundreds of years.

The conversion to a high quality holiday let has created a very comfortable, character property, ideal for couples looking for a romantic or relaxing break, a single person looking to get away from it all or a larger group who might like to let it in conjunction with the Saltings. The Old Workshop is a two bed cottage and can be let by two couples or four singles or any combination! We have clever 'zip and link' beds so just let us know and we will make them up accordingly. One couple can rent the cottage at the same price as the one bed Saltings. The other bedroom and bathroom will be closed off leaving you the ensuite bathroom off the bedroom. If you happen to be part of a larger group, then the Saltings can also be let at the same time, subject to availability.

Secure car parking space in front of the cottage is hard to find in Bath and makes coming and going as easy as it can be. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is upstairs, where the views to the beautiful Bathampton Meadows are stunning. We know you will appreciate the painted oak kitchen and the use of oak throughout the cottage to create a luxury feel. The property benefits from such 21st century technology as a managed heat recovery and ventilation system which keeps the air constantly fresh, cosy under floor heating and a very high level of insulation to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

All the kitchen facilities are of high quality and feature Bosch ceramic hob and oven, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer fridge and freezer.

The bedroom at the rear, looking out to the countryside, has a small ensuite shower room and there is another 'communal' shower room for guests staying in the bedroom at the front, overlooking the courtyard. Both feature luxurious underfloor heating, quality tiles and a powerful shower with unlimited amounts of hot water and like all the linen, the towels are Egyptian cotton.

There is very easy access to Bath. Ten minutes in the car or by bus (which stops outside the property) or 35 minutes walk. Or you can take one of the boats from the Bathampton Mill or a leisurely stroll or cycle ride along the beautiful canal all the way into the city.

Please check our website www.stay-in-bath.co.uk for full details, especially the testimonials.
